6th grade students had a Happy Halloween  today in Math celebrating with a Fraction Party in Mr. Johnson’s classes. They brought such goodies as cookie cake, apple pie, sundry of candies that break apart just right (Twix, Hershey bars, & Kit Kats), but my favorite surprise was the pizza! Pepperoni pizza at 9:15 in the morning just can’t be beat when you’re a sixth grader! Students served themselves touting what fraction of the whole they intended to devour! Just a small piece of the fun being had while students are learning at The Brook Hill School!
