Guard Junior Scholars Earn A Ticket To Ride: 2016 PSIA District Results
On Friday, April 1, 2016, the Guard Junior Scholars competed in the 2016 Private Schools International Association (PSIA) Academic District Competition. 15 schools with 500 students = 1 tough contest!
Brook Hill sent 60 4th – 6th graders to compete and they represented Brook Hill well! Guard Junior Scholars brought home a total of 407 points! 4th – 5th grade is responsible for 156 points and 6-8 won 251 points earning Brook Hill 3rd place overall! Excellent job for our academic competition debut!! Y’all are awesome!!!
Our volunteers were over the top! Thank you to all 37 moms, dads, and teachers that gave up some of their Friday to help proctor, grade and judge events. Thank you! Thank You!

Only the top 2 participants in each event earn a place at State with a 3rd place being the State Alternate. Brook Hill has 13 students in 15 events who have earned a ticket to ride on the PSIA State Team bus. Bus leaves for TCU in Fort Worth Friday, May 13, 2016! For the Glory of God and the honor of Brook Hill… Laissez les bon temps roulez!
