Learning CPR in Middle School Chapel
Middle school chapel took on a different slant this past Wednesday as Brook Hill hosted the ETMC emergency response team to speak to our students about their ability to be a lifesaver. The team brought in 50+ dummies used for practice and placed them in four different areas of the Commons. Students were given a live demonstration from the stage with specific identifiable steps to help them learn the process is both easy and replicable. Students were then given an opportunity to practice in the different areas on the dummies several times facilitated by ETMC. Students took the matter seriously and were very impressed themselves with the effectiveness of the training. Our students present in yesterday’s training are now highly qualified to jump in and do whatever necessary to be a lifesaver!
