Literary-Critical Analyses in AP Humanities

Juniors in Dr. Brunson’s AP Humanities class presented literary-critical analyses on their primary text of choice this week. Students use an element of fiction, such as “verbal irony or “huberis,” as an analytical device to closely scrutinize literary or philosophical classics. After writing their textual analyses, students present to the class and dialogue to learn more about their ideas. Some students even have conflicting opinions, and work to resolve the tension between their ideas through discourse.
