Strings Teacher, Rachel Carlton, is sparking a passion for music at the Lower School!

The age-old idiom, “practice makes perfect” lays the foundation for our Lower School’s introduction to the violin as they learn the basics of posture and holding “an instrument” before moving on to ever playing a note. This allows them to master one new element of technique at a time, growing in confidence and skill with each stroke of their bow!
