Lower School Science
1st grade began their study of rocks in science class last week. Students began by learning about safety and then started using their senses to study rocks. For their lab, students sought to answer the questions: “Can rocks be different shapes?” and “What do they feel like?” We analyzed and concluded that people and rocks are alike in some ways: we are all different.
Our 3rd graders used the Scientific Method to answer the question: “How do plants with cones make and protect their seeds?”
We all are masterpieces! Our 4th graders used their STEM ideas to work and produced “Recycled Inventions.” Come by and look!
Second graders are learning how refraction works!
