Middle School Firsts this Week
From the desk of Tammy Hayes, Middle School Principal:
From the classroom to athletics, we had a lot of “firsts” in the middle school this week.
It is our first year to run on a block schedule and on the blue/orange schedule. Classes are longer at 70 minutes and study hall is every Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday for 40 minutes following lunch.
6th grade Life Skills classes learned how to set usernames and passwords for logging on at BH and also in Ren Web. Instruction was delivered by Raegan McCallum, Director of Technology and Technology Integration Specialist, Georgia Cameron.
MS Volleyball played their first game of the season against Grace and won every game! They will meet up with next Thursday against Palestine!
Middle School football was off and running kicking off their season with a very excellent scrimmage against All Saints on Thursday! Coach Rhea reports the boys looked good and were all really excited about the season! Everybody got some play time and are now geared up to play a season opener against Tenaha next Thursday in a combined 7th/8th grade team!
