MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH OLYMPIC TEAM ADVANCES

The Brook Hill Middle School Math Olympic Team advanced ten students to the Area round of the Math Olympics!

 

This past Friday our students traveled to St. Paul Preparatory Academy in Arlington where we competed against 17 other schools. Our students received the following honors.

6th-grade: Tommy Hilliard – 1st Place in Computation, Tucker Dietz – 3rd Place in Computation, Caed Reed – Excellent Rating in Reasoning

7th-grade: Terry Kim – 2nd Place in Computation, Price James – Excellent Rating in Reasoning, Cam Ryle – Excellent Rating in Reasoning, Jackson Locker – Excellent Rating in Reasoning

8th-grade: Lily Driggers – 5th Place in Reasoning, David Sims – Excellent Rating in Computation, Drew Sims  – Superior Rating in Computation

We hope that you’ll join us in congratulating these students as they prepare for the next round of competition! We’re proud of the way they have pursued this area of academia and are excited to see where the skills and knowledge they have developed and strengthened at this level of Mathematics take them in the future!
