Mrs. Dawkins’ Class Visits Museum

Mrs. Dawkins’ 4th graders made their first visit to the American Freedom Museum to kick off their study of Texas History. Mrs. Bynum shared with them the rich heritage that Texas has in our country including, presidents, governors, provisions during war time, and much more. After a brief walk-through and introduction, the students were given questions from each gallery and were given time to wander through museum and answer the questions. Finally, they wrapped up the visit with a game of BINGO based on the questions that were answered. What a great learning experience for the students each time they visit the museum!
