Based on the book, ONE WORD THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE, 5^th Grade Spanish students at the Lower Campus chose one word for year 2014.  Each student took time to pray and consider what one word they needed to focus on during this year.  Amazingly enough each student in each class came up with a different word.  They translated their word into Spanish using Spanish/English dictionaries and made a poster to represent their word.  The students chose words like:  worship “adoración”, love “el amor”, confidence “la confianza”, joyful “gozoso”, fearless “intrépido”, and the Bible “la Biblia”.  The posters are hanging on the wall in the Spanish classroom so that students will remember the word they chose and apply it to their lives throughout our year.
