Paris

Twenty students and parents, along two BH faculty members, saw the major sights of Paris, France, in a whirl-wind eight-day tour of the city.  We rose to the top of the Eiffel Tower, toured major historical sites by bus and on foot, including Notre Dame Cathedral, Montmartre, Versailles, and the castle of Henry IV; took a boat cruise on the Seine, toured the Fragonard perfume factory, and visited Le Louvre and D’Orsay museums.   As we walked down the Champs Elysees, there were a few members of the group who even took advantage of the wonderful shopping opportunities in the City of Lights.  The food was fabulous, and our tour guide was excellent.  Many of us felt that we had entered a whole new world, and some of us were reluctant to leave!  What a great opportunity to enrich our study of history and culture by travelling to Europe.  The students who went on the trip are compiling a souvenir scrapbook and journal of the memories that will last a lifetime. Au revoir, Paris!
