Prayer: Praises and Requests

From the desk of Ginger Bell, Director of Family and Alumni Relations:

We are thanking God today for Baby McGill, born today at 5 pounds 3 ounces, 18.5 inches long!  Proud parents are our own Joe McGill in the Tech Departmentand his bride, Shonda.  All are doing well, too.  Praise God!

Please join together in prayer for the many Brook Hill families affected by the down turn in the oil and gas industry.  We have so many affected by this crisis.  Yes, our gas is much cheaper these days, but that comes at the expense of the many who have worked so hard to provide this resource.  From the oilfield workers to the land men and many others in between, times are tough and layoffs are plentiful.  Please pray for God’s provision to bless these families.

Also, on a private note, I would like to ask for prayer for my husband, Troy.  Many of you know he broke his back 3 1/2 years ago and has been going through so many trials dealing with this.  One of the toughest trials is related to the heavy medications he has been on causing his teeth to need to be replaced.  All of them!  He had the first surgery to replace the lower teeth with implants and his surgery for his upper teeth is this week.  We are seeing light at the end of this LONG tunnel and we are so grateful.  Our prayer is for complete healing and strength to manage these last few miles!

Thank you for sharing in this ministry.  It matters!
