Pre-AP Chemistry Drank the Kool-Aid

From the desk of Mr. Bunger, Science Department Chair:

Now that I have your attention I am sure you all remember the strict rules against eating and drinking in a science lab, so the chemistry class did a lab outside using normal household items. We have been learning about making solutions and measuring concentration. Our lab involved making Kool-Aid using chemistry terms like solute, solvent, moles, and molarity. Then the students were able to test the different solutions they made and decide which one had the best concentration of Kool-Aid in it. A big “thank you” to the Brookshire’s pharmacy in Bullard for helping me out with some bottles that I needed for the lab.
