Mrs. Haugh class asked the question “why didn’t the Gingerbread Man want to get wet?” Students had all kinds of ideas: maybe he didn’t know how to swim, he might get soggy or he might sink.  So we decided to see what would happen if we put the Gingerbread Man in water and…..he did get soggy, his frosting washed off and he sank.  Oh and he didn’t know how to swim, just in case you were wondering.  Our little scientists loved this experiment! 

In Spanish class, students made snowmen to celebrate Christmas and learn some soanish at the same time: el muñeco de nieve.
