This week is “Great Book Week” at the Lower School! In honor of Great Book Week, “Pumpkins on Parade” will be taking place in the library for the remainder of this week and next week. Pumpkins on Parade is a contest where students decorate or disguise a pumpkin to resemble a character from a library book. Our students will vote for their favorite storybook character pumpkin during library class time. 

Our school-wide book parade assembly will take place on Thursday, October 27th. The storybook pumpkin winners of The Children’s Choice Award” will be honored at this assembly, along with a performance from our Pre-K through 1st graders and the “From Stories to Stage” Drama group.
