Racial sensitivity discussed in chapel this week

On Wednesday we were honored to welcome a panel from Mentoring Alliance at our Middle and Upper School chapel to discuss racial sensitivity and how important our words are. The panel reiterated that we are all created equal and should be careful in what we say and how we act toward people because we are all created in the image of God. Afterwards, students had the opportunity to discuss what was said in smaller advisory groups with their advisors. We hope that through experiences like these and others that our students can deepen in their understanding of racial equality and learn how they can better love their brothers and sisters of every race and ethnicity.
