Ms. Adams’ chemistry students finished the semester learning about different types of chemical reactions and how to balance chemical equations. In lab, students saw examples of five different types of reactions and observed indications that chemical reactions were taking place. Parents, if you hear an unfamiliar barking in your kitchen, your student may be decomposing baking soda at home and lighting the hydrogen gas produced!
