Serve Others – 4th Grade Leads Chapel

IMG_8294[1]Chapel service was led by Mrs. Dawkins fourth grade class. Students presented a story about Sarge, the Brook Hill mascot. Sarge was popular, talented, and handsome (everyone wanted to have their picture taken with Sarge). He even won big shiny trophies! But something was missing in his life. Scripture tells us to serve one another in love and to clothe one self with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience (Colossians 3:12).  Sarge realized that he was so concentrated on earning accolades that he forgot that serving others with compassion and love was the path to true happiness. Sarge turned over a new paw and began serving others. He became a true service dog following the path taught by Jesus, for Jesus calls us to not be served but to serve others. (Mark 10:45).
