Students from both Spanish 3 and 4 classes attended The Selena Experience this past Saturday at The Cowan Center at The University of Texas at Tyler. The concert was a tribute to Selena Quintanilla, the late Tejano music start that was tragically murdered in 1995.

The concert was a production of Los Chicos del 512. They performed some of Selena’s most popular hits in English and in Spanish including the students’ favorites of Como la flor and Bidi Bidi Bom Bom. Prior to the show, the students enjoyed a true Mexican-style dinner at Don Juan’s restaurant in Tyler.
