4th grade Spanish students took turns role playing a conversation between a student from North America and  student from Mexico who had just arrived in the United States. Each student played a part in the conversation (fully in Spanish), and even took turns being John (from North America) and Diego (from Mexico). What a great way for our students to begin to develop better conversation skills.

5th graders took notes in English on the Spanish conversations in order to see how well they comprehended!

If students continue in our Spanish program at Brook Hill and choose to take AP Spanish in high school, they will have in-depth conversations in Spanish on a daily basis! It is an incredible way for our students to graduate with nearly fluent to fluent language skills in Spanish!
