Dianna Smith was born (and still lives) in Jacksonville, Texas, and started working at Brook Hill in 2019.  She is married to Glenn and they have two children and four grandchildren – Dr. Afton Rumsey; Jacob Smith and wife, Claire; Bella Barber; Jack Edward Barber; Adelaide Smith; and Felicity Smith.  As well as two of her grandchildren, Bella and Jack Edward, Dianna has seven great nieces at Brook Hill and others who claim her as their “Di”.

Dianna is a proud Stephen F. Austin State University Lumberjack where she earned a BS in Mathematics and a M Ed in Guidance and Counseling.  Di or Ms. Di as most people call her has one of the best jobs on the Brook Hill Campus at The Guard Shop where she meets wonderful students and their families.

Di’s favorite Bible verse is Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it shall be given, Seek and you shall find, Knock and the door will be opened.”  She hopes to teach her students to ask, seek, and knock.
