This year we took a new approach to the TAPPS Academic Team. Under the new leadership of Mrs. Brooks and Mr. Roquemore, students were invited to participate based upon 4 different criteria: teacher recommendations, test scores, academic achievement, and student interest. Pictured below are our students who attended the welcome reception, as well as Xiqing Lu and the invitations she helped to create and give students to welcome them to the team! During the reception students enjoyed pizza, conversation, and found out which competitions they were invited to compete in. We are excited about the level of participation, excitement, and competition that is being brought to the TAPPS Academic Team this year!
