Dear Brook Hill Families,

As much as I love summer, this is a year when I can’t wait to start back to school.  It is time!!  I miss the interactions with students, faculty and the entire Brook Hill family.

As we all prepare to start school on Wednesday, August 19, please know that we are working hard at Brook Hill to put things in place so that students and teachers can return to campus safely. Because we value our students’ spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, our desire is for students to get back to the face-to-face environment.  In order to do that, certain safety, hygiene, cleaning, programmatic, operational and educational protocols need to be implemented.  Information about those things will be included in this correspondence with more details to follow – specifically from the division/department that impacts each individual student.

As you will see in this document, Brook Hill has identified four levels for reopening campus. Right now, we are planning for the school year to start at Level 2 with the hope that we will move to Level 1 soon.  In the case of stricter guidance, we can move to higher levels if needed. As we said earlier in the summer, our desire is for school to be as normal as possible.  Short of a mandate from the government or a significant coronavirus outbreak on campus, learning will continue on campus.

As we navigate this school year, let’s remember to pray for each other, communicate with each other, and trust that God is in control.
