The Magnetism of Jesus
“When the son of man is lifted up, he will draw all humanity to himself.”
That was the message of Mrs. Bickerstaff’s 3rd grade class when they lead chapel this week. We began, as we always do, by singing songs to and about Jesus, and then we heard from a special guest. Dr. Back is a professor at UT Tyler, and he taught us about magnets – how they work, and they they do.
Following Dr. Back’s presentation, some of our 3rd grade students taught us about the magnetism of Jesus. His love draws us to himself. After chapel, students wrote prayers on cards and put them on the cross of Christ as a symbol of their need and desire for him.
