Universities on Campus

Representatives from TCU, LSU, and Centenary were on campus this week to talk with students about their specific universities. Students asked questions and gathered information from the ladies and gentlemen that take care of Brook Hill students. When I asked one of our students if he was going to apply to LSU the student said that he had thought about it but that LSU didn’t have his major. Mr. Cobos was listening to our conversation and asked the student what his major was. When he told him Mr. Cobos said, “Yes, we have both undergraduate and graduate degrees in that area.” The student was pleasantly surprised and continued his conversation with Mr. Cobos. See what happens when you ask!!!!

LeTourneau University representative, Jovita Perez-Segovia,  recently visited Ms. Jeske’ s classroom to talk to her class about the programs that LeTourneau has to offer. Known for aviation, engineering, education, business, and nursing, Mrs. Perez-Segovia mentioned that the university is affordable and accessible. A 20 ACT and a 950 (CR and M) are required for admission with a 2.5 GPA. Admitted students receive from $8,000-$17,000 annually for merit based scholarships. Being a graduate of the aviation program Mrs. Perez-Segovia encouraged students to reach out to her with questions.
