US History Field Trip to New Orleans

The Senior History classes recently visited the National World War II Museum in New Orleans as a part of their study of that era.  Covering two city blocks in four separate buildings, the Museum tells the incredible story of how America and her allies defeated the threat of Germany, Italy and Japan through realistic walking tours of theaters of war as well as 4-D video presentations.  Of course, a visit to New Orleans would not be complete without a sampling of the local cuisine at The Court of Two Sisters and Oceana Grill.  A visit to Oak Alley Plantation, an antebellum sugar cane plantation on the Mississippi River, concluded the trip.histrip5 histtrip histtrip2 histrip3 histrip4
