Wockets in PreK Spanish
Lower School Spanish classes revisited a favorite Dr. Seuss book, “There’s a Wocket in My Pocket!” and heard the story in Spanish. They learned the word for pocket, bolsillo, and got to invent their own “wocket” and draw a picture of it. Students agreed that it is just as fun to hear silly rhyming words in Spanish as it is in English.
Here are photos of Pre-K students displaying drawings of “wockets.”
