Mrs Savage’s 5th grade class visited the American Freedom Museum this week to learn about the events that led to the war of 1812. Students got to see real artifacts from the era and hear stories about the war. Students also researched various events like the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Trenton, the Navl Duel between the USS Constitution and the HMS Guerrierre and finally The War of 1812. Students then gave reports to the rest of the class. We love having a museum on our campus!
