6th Grade Studies Civil War at Museum

Our 6th graders began studying The War Between The States this week in class. As a way of introducing the era to our students, Mr. Roquemore and Mrs. Eden took them to the American Freedom Museum here on campus. Students learned about the events and circumstances leading to the war as well as what life was like for the people during that time. Our students were able to see real life uniforms, explore various battles, and understand living conditions on the battlefield. Stepping into history at the American Freedom Museum is always better than reading about it in a book!
