Congratulations to Nikki Evans for being named a Commended Scholar in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program.

This is an honor that only a select group of students around the country achieve.  Commended Scholars placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2014 competition by taking the 2012 PSAT.

Brian Nelson, Dean of Academics, states, “I am very proud of Nikki.  Achieving scholar status in the National Merit Program is extremely difficult and is a result of much hard work and dedication to academic success.  Nikki has used her talents and gifts for the glory of God.”

Nikki will be presented an official Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation during MS/US chapel on October 30, 2013.
