Cornell Notes in the Business Lab
“A SHORT PENCIL IS BETTER THAN A LONG MEMORY” – COACH JACK LENGYEL
During the first day of Mrs. King’s classes, students learned the importance of note-taking and the Cornell method of taking notes.
Mrs. Mize from the Academic Center for Excellence explained the importance of note-taking to Mrs. King’s classes. Students learned that up to 70% of what they learn in class is forgotten within the first few days if they do not take notes.
Mrs. Mize showed students how to use the Cornell method of taking notes in order to aid their memory and provide valuable study material. For more information about the Cornell method and the note-taking workshop, take a look at the presentation the students went through.
