8th Science Creates Problems in the American Freedom Museum

Mrs. Wallace brought her 8th grade science classes to the museum this week to put History Under The Microscope! Using the 5 steps in the Scientific Method they had learned in class, students combed the museum looking for a good question to explore. They came up with great problems to hypothesize! For example: Which weapon was the most effective in World War I? Which event in the Cold War was the most significant? What is the average age at which a president is elected and why? Once they had their question, they developed a hypothesis or prediction and then created a procedure to find the answer. They developed rubrics, graphs and charts. If you see one of these outstanding scholars, ask them for the results of their experiment!
