Fifteen educators from the Brook Hill Upper and Lower School recently joined 12,000 educators from around the state and nation to attend the Texas Computer Education Association Conference in Austin, Texas. Kent Travis, reflecting on the conference sessions and overall experience, said, “We were shown so many apps, web sites, and programs that we can use to make our lessons more engaging, effective, and interactive.”  The entire Brook Hill team would agree that this was a tremendous opportunity to learn ways to better integrate technology with the curriculum. Many of the web tools and applications were later shared at a recent school wide continuing education in-service.
