CHRISTMAS AT THE BROOK

Each family has its holiday traditions. Big or small, there are occasions and acts that make up the memories of each year.

For us at Brook Hill, Christmas at the Brook is one of those traditions. Hosted by the Fine Arts Department and SOFA, our orchestra, led by Dr. Gary Gardner, and our choir, led by Mrs. Patti Eden, performed a musical lineup that left us feeling merry and bright.

Deepening our anticipation for the Christmas holiday, they played festive classics along with songs and renditions that reminded us of Christ’s birth.

Joining together at the end to sing along, our Upper and Middle School choirs and orchestras led us as we celebrated both the season and the arts.

In addition to enjoying an evening of music, Brook Hill families had an opportunity to support the arts through a silent auction on Christmas gifts baskets assembled by our SOFA parent committee. We are so thankful for the time and energy they invested in helping to put the event together and hope that all who attended enjoyed both the music and fellowship! Listening to our students’ perform we were reminded of the rich gift that music gives us.

We’re wishing you a splendid Christmas season and do hope that you’ll join us in February for our next Fine Arts event, Potatoes and Plays!
