Second grade students of Mrs. Brashier and Mrs. Johnson recently conducted a mock election after reading the story, Duck for President by Doreen Cronin. Students made  posters, campaign speeches, and filled out voter registration cards. The candidates running for president were Farmer Brown and Duck!  The second graders voted with a secret ballot and tallied results. The winner was Duck!
