Getting to Know Colleges

Part of preparing our students for college means helping them get to know the options that are available to them. One of the advantages our students have at Brook Hill is the opportunity to speak with colleges from across the US, right here on our campus. College representatives flood our campus almost week throughout the school year, giving our students the opportunity to speak with the people who know their university best.

This week, students stopped by to visit with the Abilene Christian University representative when he was on campus Tuesday to find out answers to their individual questions. Students were also able to attend a presentation by Texas A&M on Thursday concerning admissions requirements and procedures. Through both of these opportunities, our students can begin to feel more comfortable with the application process and get a better feel for what college will be like – helping with their transition from high school. We hope that through opportunities like this our students can make more informed decisions about college and leave Brook Hill equipped to handle to challenges of college.
