In conjunction with Fine Arts Week at the Lower School, parents and/or grandparents were invited to learn about a web-based tool, Storybird, and to create a beautifully illustrated book with their child in the computer lab before and after lunch. Adults and students wrote an original story based on selected illustrations. The result was an amazing product that could be shared or downloaded later at home. The best part of this activity was watching students and parents/grandparents work side-by-side, sharing ideas.
