Jinny Harris
Jinny Harris recently retired from public education after 28 years serving as a teacher and school guidance counselor. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio and her Master’s in Counseling from the University of Texas in San Antonio.
Jinny also served in the United States Air Force for four years as a vocalist for the U.S.A.F. Band of the West at Lackland A.F.B. in San Antonio where she earned an Associate’s in Music through the Community College of the Air Force.
Jinny and her husband, Tom, have been married for 26 years and have three children: Tommi Jo, Berri, and Benjamin. In her free time, Jinny performs in local community theatre productions. She and her family enjoy worshiping at Flint Baptist Church where Jinny is a member of the worship choir.
