Taffy Johnson grew up in Waxahachie, TX. She received her B. A. in Political Science from Baylor University and her masters in Spanish Language and Culture from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. She has taught Spanish and ESL for over 20 years and is excited to be teaching at Brook Hill!

She and her husband, Buddy, have lived on the mission fields of Mexico and Ecuador, and recently moved to Jacksonville, Tx, near three of their six married children. She enjoys singing, traveling, cooking, spending time with her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and worshiping with her church family at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Tx, where their son, Eric, is pastor.

Taffy is eternally grateful for parents who exalted Christ and taught the Truth in their home, for a church that taught her that God’s will never contradicts His Word, and for a nation where she has religious freedom. She is still learning but longs to wait on the Lord and trust Him with all her heart.
