Brook Hill is Going! Want to go to?

The “Christmas Truce of 1914” is one of the most fascinating but untold stories associated with World War I. And it is coming to the Cowan Center in Tyler. The Fine Arts Department is organizing a group trip to see the World Premiere Tour of “All Is Calm – The Christmas Truce of 1914” by Peter Rothstein. It is a musical retelling of the night in 1914 when thousands of men put down their guns and left their trenches to meet their enemies in No Man’s Land. Information about the show can be found here: https://alliscalm.org/.

The performance is on Thursday night, November 30 at 7:30 pm at the UT Tyler Cowan Center. Group tickets are $ 20 each. Our group will make plans to eat dinner together before the show for those who want to, and then possibly stop somewhere after the performance for coffee and a talk back session. If you would like to be part of this unique group experience, contact Mr. Glenn Ballard at [email protected] or call him at 903.312.0371. He will submit the ticket order next Friday, November 17.
