Anna Zapolska Awarded John Brown University Presidential Scholarship
Congratulations to senior Anna Zapolska of Ukraine on receiving this prestigious honor!
Brook Hill’s Boarding Academic Counselor, Ashley Bouwer, shared, “Anna is the complete package – smart, driven, compassionate, and beautiful on the inside and out! She has worked extremely hard in her high school career and I can’t wait to see where her dreams take her.”
Her dreams for college are taking her to John Brown University.
John Brown University, ranked Arkansas #1 University by The Wall Street Journal, is a leader in Christian Higher Education. On Monday, March 15th, Brook Hill Senior Anna Zapolska was awarded the highest academic award at JBU.
Out of about 66 students who competed this spring, only 2 students were awarded this scholarship. This award covers full-tuition cost for all four years of study, a total of around $116,000! In order to be chosen for this award, a student must meet a minimum requirement of academic achievement, show evidence of strong Christian character, and demonstrate a high level of leadership
A representative of John Brown University said, “We are thrilled to present Anna this scholarship, as we feel she is incredibly deserving!”
We believe she is, too.
Congratulations, Anna – your Brook Hill family is so proud of you!
