Brook Hill’s Freshman Maddi Travis won several visual arts awards at the 98th East Texas State Fair September 23-27 in Tyler Texas. Maddi placed first with a portrait painting in acrylic and second and honorable mention with two prisma color pencil drawings in the youth creative arts division. This year’s event was held in Tyler Texas and included hundreds of entries from across the East Texas Area.
