ASCI Desktop Publishing Awards at the Lower School

This was our first time to enter the ACSI Desktop Publishing Competition and it was harder than you might think. Students had to have basic skills in typing, and knowledge of layout and design which includes use of color, type, and arrangement of objects and text. Project was to be free of spelling, puncuation and grammar errors. In addition to all this, students were required to create an original, creative product that reflected our Brook Hill character. Our Lower School Desktop Publishing team included Jackson Steele,  Layne Whitten, Peyton Stewart, Jacob Frisbie,  Nakia Carter, Cole Gunter, Emily Gragg, Callie Bailey, and Bonnye Bunn. These students are pictured with their ribbon below. In addition to receiving an excellent rating, Callie Bailey, was an overall third place winner in the competition.
