Seth Moss and Brooks Parham each doubled and drove in four runs as part of a 16-run performance as Brook Hill eased past Tyler Bishop Gorman, 16-2.

The Guard trailed 2-0 after the first inning before answering with 16 unanswered runs in the next three. The game was called after the fifth because of the 10-run rule.

Josh Jenkins delivered a home run with doubles from Parham, Moss and Miguel Vega. Logan Langford doubled twice and stole a base. The Guard combined for five stolen bases overall with Parham, Reid Hill, Campbell Fletcher and Tyler Overbeek all in on the act.

Langford won the game on the mound, allowing two runs on one hit in three innings with six strikeouts and four walks. Neither of the runs Langford allowed were earned. Miguel Vega delivered two innings of scoreless relief with four strikeouts.

Brook Hill were stopped in the first inning, but erupted in the second to take over the game for good. A leadoff double Miguel Vega began things with Fletcher reaching on an error to score Vega. A double by Langford scored Fletcher to tie the game, 2-2. Parham put the Guard in front with an RBI single.

After Parham went to second on a sac bunt by Logan Fitzgerald he stole third before trotting home on an RBI single by Hill. Two more RBI singles by Moss and Jenkins left the Guard with a 6-2 lead.

The Guard went back to work in the third, scoring four runs on an RBI double by Parham, sac fly from Fitzgerald and two-run double by Moss.

Brook Hill produced the needed runs for the 10-run rule in the fourth, scoring six. Tyler Overbeek drove in the one of the inning with a bases-loaded walk. Parham followed with a two-run single and Hill grounded out to score Parham to make it 14-2. A sac fly from Moss made it 15-2 with Jenkins capping the inning with a solo home run to left field.

Vega set down Gorman in order in the fifth to end the game.
