Basketball: Guard face Dallas Christian TONIGHT in playoffs
Brook Hill (10-15) opens the playoffs TONIGHT on the road at Dallas Christian. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m.
The Guard dropped their final district game against Tyler All Saints, 51-48. The Guard led the fourth quarter of their clash, but eventually fell by three points.
The Guard (10-15) now turn to the playoffs and Dallas Christian.
Brook Hill will take on Dallas Christian (17-15) in the opening round.
The two former district foes met earlier this season with Dallas Christian defeating the Guard by three points, 50-47.
Against the Trojans, Parker Galbraith scored 17 points with Miguel Vega delivering 14 points. Most of the Galbraith’s points came form behind the three-point arc with the senior knocking down four 3-pointers.
Also on the scoresheet for Brook Hill in that loss were Alec Kitt (5), Jared Johnson (7) and Reid Hill (5).
