On Saturday, Dec 6, eight Brook Hill orchestra qualifiers participated in the 2014 Texas Music Educator’s Association All-Region Clinic and Concert held at Longview High School auditorium.

MS Orchestra Region qualifiers representing Brook Hill were violinists, Hannah Windsor, Colm Coneen, Emma Bynum and Jackson Fath and violist, James Shipp. These students were directed by Nancy Epperson, Lady Bird Johnson Middle School Orchestra Director and former TISD Middle School Orchestra director.

US Orchestra violist, Taylor Kennedy and cellists, Brian Guo and Alex Ellis proudly represented Brook Hill in the All-Region High School Orchestra under the direction of Bryan Buffaloe, head director of orchestras at Clear Lake High School.

Violinists, Mimi Jackson and Minseo Kwak qualified for the High School Region Orchestra, but were unable to participate in the clinic and concert.

Brook Hill Orchestra All-Region musicians rehearsed long hours on very challenging music and gave outstanding performances at the culminating All-Region Orchestra concert! We’re so proud of these students!
