Brook Hill JV volleyball completes season with win

Brook Hill JV capped its season with a victory over Tyler Grace, 25-16, 25-17.

The win gives the Lady Guard a 7-5 overall record.

“The girls really ended their season on a high,” Lady Guard coach Candise Wise said. “They pulled together and played as a team. I am extremely proud of this team and their constant fight throughout the season. They’ve been a blessing to coach this season.”

Sophomore Zoe Hayes and freshman Morgan Carpenter led the Lady Guard offensively with 3 kills apiece. The Lady Guard finished with 10 kills combined as a team and had 26 digs, led by 11 from freshman Jaylen Wheat. Sophomore Julia Hardiman also played a big role on defense with 6 digs.

Brook Hill JV combined for 6 aces in the victory with freshman Madeline Reed and sophomore Kaitlyn Rhea finishing with 2 apiece.
