Brook Hill volleyball falls in three games to Prince of Peace

Carrollton Prince of Peace dealt Brook Hill its second district loss in a row Tuesday at Herrington Gym.

The Lady Guard lost, 25-13, 25-16, 25-23.

Senior Charlie Niles led the Lady Guard in the loss with 11 kills. Junior Brianna Young finished with a team-high 16 digs, junior Mia Martinico tallied a team-high 10 assists, senior Emily Webb totaled a team-high 2 stuff blocks and junior Megan Priddy finished with a team-high 3 service aces.

Tuesday’s loss dropped Brook Hill to 4-4 in TAPPS District 2-4A and 9-7 overall.

The Lady Guard return to the court Thursday against Garland Brighter Horizon. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at Brighter Horizon School.
