This month, our student members of Chick-fil-A Leader Academy met for the first time! They took part in their first service opportunity by packing care kits, and writing encouraging letters for troops stationed overseas.

Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is a national high school leadership program focused on impact through action. It is a year-long curriculum that engages students with a monthly “Leader Lab” focusing on important leadership skills. Throughout the program, students also plan an “impact project,” which is the culmination of the program.

The impact project is student-planned and student-led. Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is growing, with 700+ schools involved in 2017 and more than 1,000 schools expected to be involved in the next few years!
