Chorale Sings in Honor of Mr. Al Herrington

Members of the Brook Hill Guard Chorale were invited to sing for an event honoring Mr. Al Herrington, brother of Mrs. Louise Ornelas. Mr. Herrington has been a long-time servant of the people of Smith County though various ministries, including the weekly Sonrise Prayer Breakfast that he began over 30 years ago. The group still meets weekly and prays for the city of Tyler.  Mayor Barbara Bass performed her last duty as mayor of Tyler proclaiming it to be Al Herrington Day. Also speaking in honor of Mr. Herrington were former Director of the North and South American divisions of YWAM, Leland Paris, and the Reverend Paul Powell, who gave the benediction. It was a beautiful evening honoring a faithful servant of God. Singing on behalf of The Brook Hill School were Caleb Wagner, Alec Kitt, Chipper Adams, Andrew Edwards, Claire Dixon, Megan Priddy, Lauren Eden, and Raegan Hayes.
